[Talk in English]
Since 2014, more photographs are produced in a year then in the whole history of photography. Search, archiving and preservation, access to knowledge and databases become central issues. With technologies such as AI, Machine Vision and Machine Learning, comes the fragmentation of representation, of affect, of experience and authorship. How to create a practice of publishing that reflects upon the status of images and the impact of digital technology? Bedel will present her publishing and research platform Meta/Books as well as the new photobook ‘Out of the Blue’ by Virginie Rebetez.
